FAQs

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
  • YES! We carry a full liability policy through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. We are licensed in Broward County and we are fully bonded.

What happens if there is an emergency at my home or my pet becomes ill?
  • On our introductory visit with you we will fill out a comprehensive information sheet that has all of your contact information as well as emergency contacts and veterinarian info. Should a problem occur, we will notify you or your emergency contact immediately for instructions.

What areas do you serve?
  • We serve most of eastern Broward County, including Ft. Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Coconut Creek, Margate, Tamarac, Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point and Deerfield Beach. We have recently added service to southeastern Palm Beach County as well, including Boca Raton and Delray Beach.

Who will be coming to my home?
  • All of our experienced pet-sitters are the very best at what they do. When you call for service, depending on your area, we will send your sitter out to do an introductory visit. Unless there is an emergency or stated otherwise, only the sitter you meet and approve will do your service.

I’d like mid-day dog walks. What time do you come?
  • All of our mid-day services are done between 11 and 2. We will do our best to come at the time you desire.

How far in advance do I need to book?
  • We ask that you give us as much notice as you can, but we can often accommodate last minute requests as long as they are not during peak times (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.).
